We’re an independent, award-winning creative agency.
We work with high-profile, global brands such as Chivas, Jameson, The Glenlivet, Aspall, Pravha, Sue Ryder, P&G and a bunch of others.
We’re pretty good at what we do. In recent years we’ve won Campaign’s Global Integrated Agency of the Year, as well as being nominated for two Agency of The Year(s) including The Drum DADI Agency of the Year. We’ve also been shortlisted as Campaign Independent Agency of the Year and have been named number 12 in Campaign Best Places to Work.
There are about 40 of us, but that number grows all the time because we’re ambitious and do great work.
We’re 70% female with a 50/50 gender split on the Senior Team. We proudly have 100% pay parity, and it kind of annoys us that we even have to mention that as something unique within this industry.
We don’t like the ‘Old Guard’ of advertising. This is an agency that uses passion, ingenuity, and an anything-is-possible attitude to deliver work across all kinds of platforms. It’s one of the reasons why working here is a hell of a lot of fun. Everything’s to play for.
Not surprisingly, this is an agency set for growth, so we’re looking for a Creative Producer who wants to be part of, and help drive that growth.
You’ll be the bridge between imagination and execution, grounding bold ideas in flawless delivery working alongside our Head of Production and Creative team.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
● Sense-checking and helping develop creative ideas, using solid production know-how to spot risks, offer smarter routes, and help creative teams get to ideas that are feasible within time and budget.
● Putting together clear, detailed Scopes of Work (SoWs) and timelines that set everyone up for success across complex, multi-deliverable projects.
● Taking the lead on structuring kickoffs, briefings, reviews, and regular catch-ups keeping teams aligned, focused, and moving in the right direction.
● Working closely with creatives, account teams, strategists, and clients to make sure everyone’s aligned on the brief, the budget, and the plan from day one.
● Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, freelancers, and production partners, knowing exactly who to call for what, and negotiating smart deals that get the most out of every penny.
● Having a clear idea of the correct chronology of any production you’re leading, to guarantee efficiency, creative optimisation and cost-effectiveness.
● Running small to medium shoots independently, and stepping up to oversee larger ones, making sure every detail’s covered and the day runs smoothly, whatever happens.
● Getting everything lined up ahead of shoot day, leading PPMs, creating call sheets and schedules, sorting insurance, contracts, and releases so everything’s watertight.
● When it comes to bigger shoots, confidently managing third-party production companies or freelance producers, keeping a close eye on quality, timelines, and budget.
● Overseeing the post-production process, working with editors, colourists, sound and VFX teams to keep things on track and true to the creative vision.
● Taking ownership of proofs and print production when needed, making sure everything looks as good in real life as it did in layout.
● Keeping all shoot documents and paperwork in order, usage rights, renewals, legal bits, releases, wrap reports, so nothing slips through the cracks.
● Confidently managing admin like POs, reconciliations, and budget updates in Scoro, making sure everything’s accurate and up to date.
● Keeping a close eye on spend and forecasts, flagging any issues early to account and leadership teams before they become problems.
● Sticking to the “three quotes rule” and always being ready to show procurement and clients your workings.
● Owning supplier negotiations, pushing for the best setups, rates, and solutions to make the creative shine.
● Creating a calm, collaborative environment where everyone feels heard, and challenges are met with empathy and practical solutions.
● Leading and motivating mixed teams, keeping energy high, communication clear, and everyone pulling in the same direction.
● Staying on top of multiple projects at once, knowing when to reprioritise, delegate, or jump in to get things moving again.
● Making sure all agency and client-specific production processes are followed to the letter, without slowing things down.
● Keeping the team up to date on AI policies, what’s allowed, what’s not, and what’s still evolving.
● Staying clued up on industry standards and best practices, ASA, APA, D&I, sustainability, Drinkaware and more, and helping others stay across them too.
● Helping to keep our internal production handbook, templates, and tools up to date with the latest learnings and smarter ways of working.
● Owning and growing your network of trusted crew, suppliers, and partners, the go-to person who always knows the right contact for the job.
● Keeping an eye out for fresh talent and up-and-coming production companies, sharing recommendations and helping the team stay inspired.
● Being a voice of craft and care, pushing for smart production ideas, brilliant execution, and high standards, without blowing the budget.
● Owning the flow of every production from start to finish, keeping a clear view of the bigger picture to make sure everything runs smoothly and delivers at its best.
● You’ve already proven yourself in a production role, ideally within a creative agency or production company.
● You’ve delivered large, integrated campaigns from start to finish and know what it takes to get ambitious ideas made.
● You’re commercially sharp, creatively driven, and thrive in environments where the two meet.
● You’re a natural leader—calm, confident, and collaborative—with a knack for keeping teams motivated and aligned.
● You care deeply about the work, the craft, and the people making it.
● You’re proactive, pragmatic, and relentlessly detail-focused without ever losing sight of the big picture.
● You’re ready to help shape the next chapter of our production offering.
Transferable skills:
We are committed to encouraging equality, diversity and inclusion among our workforce. We care more about what you can do than where you’ve done it. If you’ve gained your skills in a different industry, or even a side hustle, and think you’d smash it in production, let’s talk.
If you’re creative, strategic, great at empowering others, and have led teams or projects (paid or unpaid), there’s space for you here.
Skills that apply to working at Impero range from innovation, creativity, being strategically minded, having the ability to coach, lead and empower others.
