We’re an independent, award-winning creative agency.

We work with high-profile, global brands such as Jameson, The Glenlivet, Aspall, P&G and a bunch of others.  

We’re pretty good at what we do. We’ve won multiple Agency of The Year(s) including Campaign’s Global Integrated Agency of the Year and The Drum DADI Agency of the Year. We were also shortlisted as Campaign Independent Agency of the Year and, for two years running, made it onto Campaign Magazine’s 100 Best Places to Work. 

There’s about 20 of us (not including the dogs) — and that number keeps growing because we’re ambitious and we do great work.

We’re 70% female with a 50/50 gender split on the Senior Team. We proudly have 100% pay parity, and it kind of annoys us that we even have to mention that as something unique within this industry.

Not surprisingly, this is an agency that wants growth, so we’re looking for a Senior Strategist who wants to be part of and help drive that growth.

The role

 This is a thinking, shaping, leading role.

As a Senior Strategist at Impero, you’ll be:

  • Working alongside the ECD and CSO, you will lead the development of big brand platforms and 360/ATL campaigns for global clients 
  • Driving integrated thinking across TV, film, digital, social, and beyond
  • Owning strategy from insight through to execution and effectiveness
  • Acting as brand guardian across major clients
  • Partnering closely with Creative leads and Senior Account leads
  • Building strong relationships with senior clients and influencing decision-making
  • Helping shape the strategic output of the agency

You’ll be expected to bring sharp cultural thinking into the agency – spotting shifts, tensions and behaviours before they become obvious.

And importantly, you’ll help ensure the work doesn’t just look good in a boardroom – but works hard in the real world.

We’re a fast-moving agency. You’ll need to think quickly, prioritise ruthlessly and thrive on momentum.

Slow-moving chin-scratchers need not apply.

Essential skills:

  • 5+ years’ agency experience
  • Proven experience leading large-scale 360 and ATL campaigns (TV, film, OOH, integrated brand platforms)
  • Experience working on FMCG/Alcohol and/or global multi-market brands
  • Strong brand and comms planning capability
  • Demonstrable experience in presenting to and influencing senior clients
  • Experience driving strategy from brief through to effectiveness measurement

  • Provide clarity and direction to both clients and internal teams
  • Be deeply consumer-centric,  always bringing human insight into the room
  • Be culturally plugged-in and commercially aware
  • Be confident running workshops, briefings and strategic sessions
  • Have strong relationships across Creative and Account teams
  • Be proactive, solutions-focused and comfortable taking ownership
